Exterior Waterproofing & Painting Proposal

RE: Your Building

Dear Customer:

I have prepared an estimate to provide all labor, material, equipment, and insurance required to install an elastomeric coating system and perform the miscellaneous repairs to the building as outlined in your bid specification as follows:

Scope:

  • Pressure wash all surfaces to be painted.
  • Seal all cracks in plaster and cmu surfaces with urethane joint sealant.
  • Patch voids in plaster surface using cementitious patching compound.
  • Prime all surfaces to be coated with surface conditioner for chalky substrates.
  • Apply finish coat of elastomeric coating system at 12 to 14 mils dry film thickness; 2-coat process.
  • Replace rotten wood trim at exterior side of widows.
  • Replace two (2) broken window lites, repairing putty glazing as required.
  • Paint wood windows with latex paint.
  • Caulk base of wall to sidewalk along Main and Elm Ave.
  • Replace roof drain gutter.
  • Paint ramp wall at west elevation.
  • Extend drain pipe at alley thru-wall penetration to prevent drainage on wall surface.
  • Remove picture frame molding at plaster wall.

Materials:

  • Sonneborn "NP 2" urethane joint sealant.
  • Sonneborn "754" Primer for chalky surfaces.
  • Sonneborn "Colorflex" elastomeric coating.
  • Sonneborn "Gel Patch" cementitious patching compound.

Warranty:

  • ProofRock one (1) year contractor installation warranty.
  • Sonneborn ten (10) year labor & material warranty.

Schedule:

  • 30 Working days (exclusive of weather delays).
